Evaluation;
For this technique we used the studio as it is similar to that of Blur in that the studio has a similar set up to get the lighting right to create and show the blur in the image. I am quite happy with how this went, but did not get a wide variety of shots, and many of the ideas I tried did not turn out too good. The ones that did turn out good however look good and create a strong bold effect showing sharp detail and blur.
This image I think came out really well as it shows a lot of movement, but her face is really sharp and clear which makes it stand out. When editing, I decided to give the image a pink hue as I think it works really well with the movement shown in the image. I also created more light and shadow to enhance the bright areas of movement.
This is another image that I think turned out quite well. I really like the ghostly effect it creates and how the blurred face movement contrasts to the sharper face. When editing, I decided to slightly increase the contrast and make it black and white as it emphasises the eerie effect.
How can I use this technique in my work;
This technique could be incorporated into my personal project to put emphasis on and present a certain idea. For example; I could show shoes and have someone walk and then stop to show the movement and show the shoes sharply as well.
